BREATHER VALVE
Breather Valve also known as Pressure and Vacuum Relief Valve are widely used in Industries for Normal Venting, Thermal Venting and Emergency Venting Requirements.
These Valves are required to be sized & tested according to relevant International Standards such as ISO 28300, or API 2000, and additionally with ISO 16852 - if attached with Flame Arrester.
Main Functionality of these valves are based on their set pressure and set vacuum, which can be achieved using dead weight loading or spring loading mechanisms.

Pipeway Type Breather Valve widely used in Industries where Venting Requirements includes solvents, vapours in toxic or hazardous state which shall not be leaked to the atmosphere due to safety concerns of people and property.
Using Pipeway Connections these gases can be transferred to the safe location by customer as they required.

BREATHER VALVE CUM FLAME ARRESTER
(INBUILT TYPE)
Breather Valve with inbuilt type Flame Arrester is generally used for both to application briefly it allows a storage tank with flammable liquids/solvents to breath, thus maintain a safe internal working pressure and protection against fire.
Sometimes referred to as pressure and vacuum relief valve, the breather valve is an important part for atmospheric tanks & vessels in which solvents are filled and drawn at a high flow rate. This type of valve is installed in the in-and out breathing lines of tanks, vessels and avoid atmospheric contamination, thus balancing unpredicted fluctuation in pressure & vacuum and providing increased fire protection and safety. Also preferred option as Zone 2 Applications or suitable with lower / normal venting requirements.
